| Industrial Skills Trainers |
General requirements: BS Degree in Vocational Education or Engineering /Science plus 8 yrs industrial experience or as a trainer in industrial or vocational skills including a minimum of 5 years as trainer teaching courses equivalent to Saudi Aramco Industrial Skills Courses OR Formal vocational training and 14 years hands-on experience in the specialty to be taught. Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- DRILLING
Functions: Instructs trainees and apprentices in: overall drilling and workover operations, and serves as mentor for Saudi Trainers and instructors, primary and auxiliary drilling rig components and equipment, basic and intermediate level programs in health, safety and environment, etc. Candidate should be certified for: rig pass, well cap. Mastery level of normal drilling operation activities such as: making hole, drilling mud, straight hole, casing and cementing, testing and completing. Must have thorough knowledge of non-routine Drilling operations such as: controlled directional drilling, open-hole fishing, blowout prevention, sub sea blowout preventers and marine riser systems.
Minimum requirements:
- High School Certificate. Should have at least 13 years relevant experience in drilling and workover operations including supervisory experience generally acquired by progression on a drilling or workover rig.
- BS Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical). Should have at least 7 years of experience working in drilling and workover operations including adequate supervisory experience on a drilling or workover rig.
- MECHANICAL
Heavy industrial Petrochemical/manufacturing experience required. Qualified to teach measurement, technical sketching, use of technical manuals, lubrication, bearing maintenance. Candidate should have experience with compressors, pumps, valves, governors, rotodynamic, actuators, turbines, steam and gas, mechanical seals, vibration analysis, lathe and milling machines.
- OPERATIONS
Experience of Refinery Operations equipment suc as distillation, reforming, utilities, furnaces, Merox Unit, Naptha Hydrotreater. Experience of NGL Process: Fractionation, Refrigeration, Feed Surge, Tank Farm, Utilities (Boilers). Knowledge of Personal Computer and Programming helpful.
- PROCESS CONTROL SYSTEM
Maintenance/Troubleshooting experience with one or more systems such as PLCs (Allen Bradley System5, Triplex, Triconex; DCS (Honeywell TDC3000, (Configuration experience preferred but not required). Monitoring Systems Bentley Nevada 3300 (vibration); Compressor loading controls (CCC); Gas Chromatography Intelligent Automation or Foxboro; Data Acquisition equipment SCADA, Harris Remote Terminal Units. Proficient in the use of Digital Technician Test Equipment, (Logic probes/"EPROM" programmers Analyzers/O-scopes). Use of IBM Personal computer equipment required.
